Japanese Silver Grass - Miscanthrus sinensis

Another cold sunny day.

Lucky to capture the sun halo-ing these grass heads in between wind gusts. Took a few attempts and finally captured this image.

I love these grasses. They are soft to touch and have an abundance of razor sharp needle like leaves which contrast well with the fluffy heads of seeds. Throw a good reflection too but not today.
