HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY
Happy happy happy
On the 6th July I was diagnosed with breast cancer. On the 5th August I have NO cancer. The NHS must be the best service in the world.
Diagnosed, operated on and given the results all within a month. Just how good is that?
OK so I still need radiotherapy ? but that?s a small price to pay for still being alive.
And look at my breast. A couple of weeny, teeny scars. OK I won?t be the next ?Jordan? but that was never one of my ambitions in life anyway. I think I have fallen in love with my surgeon. A lovely, lovely, man and so, so clever.
Perhaps now I can get back to normal on BLIP.
I started this BLIP (on 1st June 2011) with the intention of writing 500 memoirs of my life, in 500 days with a maximum of 500 words per blip. But that was before I knew I had cancer.
A story forgotten can never be retold.
I?ll be back on track soon.
