campers!!

Our new 'short stay' tent arrived today (I've decided that erecting our super gigantic 'home from home' tent with double glazing, carpet tiles and strip lights, takes the fun out of weekend camping; its departure day before I've erected the bloody thing). Henceforth, mega tent shall only be used for camping in the same location for four nights or more.

Owen and I practiced putting up the newbie on the common grass outside the flat - Top Scout tip - practice putting up your new tent at home on a bright warm(ish) night with little wind, NOT at the campsite, in the dark, in a howling gale and pishing rain.

Anyway, Owen loves the new tent and has called it Sammy.
