Anthony never ceases to amaze me. The kid spends almost all of his time flying planes, taking aviation classes, or playing computer games in which he flies planes. He's so intense about flying that he won't set foot in a bar uptown, even if it's one he's old enough to be in. He also won't stop by parties, even if he's not drinking, b/c he doesn't want to risk being in a situation where anyone at all could get busted for something. I think some people assume that he's just too obsessed with flying to do anything else... but those people haven't watched him play intramural sports.

In broomball, he was the kid sprinting on the ice from one side of the rink to the other that left everyone saying, "where'd he come from?" On their softball team, he's one of the quieter, scrawnier guys... yet stepped up to the plate and walloped a ball for an inside-the-park homerun. Technically, that's the only kind of homerun you can hit b/c there aren't fences, but considering that he knocked it over 4 outfielders' heads far enough to clear the bases of everyone (he had to slow down to not pass the teammate ahead of him on base), he crushed it. They never saw it coming. He almost did the same thing at his next at bat, too. Their team also only needs 3 outfielders b/c when Anthony plays center field... he's really playing half of left field, half of right field, and some fairly shallow second base, as well. BEAST.
