Apiary

Saturday afternoon visit to the apiary for beekeeping knowledge exchange.

Meetings start at 2pm on a Saturday, beginners, new and experienced beekeepers work together on the hives.

The beekeeper who has a job to do talks through the task in hand while the prospective and new beekeepers watch, listen and ask questions which are answered by the more experienced beekeepers.

This is all dependent upon the weather and temperature. Around 4.30 today as the afternoon was coming to an end rain came over so all work stopped for the day.

Tea and biscuits followed on. Next meeting on Wednesday at 6pm dependent on weather.
