Ross Taylor Memorial

Today the local community (plus surfers from all along the coast) attended the Ross Taylor Memorial day at Buffalo Bay. I blipped about his passing a year ago.

The day really had a festival air about it. Kids were in great moods and everyone was relaxed. Unfortunately I seem to have a stomach bug and am feeling pretty ill. It's not going to stop me blipping though.

Check out the crazy narrow DOF over here. I've got a bit of back focus going with the lens (only his far eyelash is in focus) but I love the lens.
