Compact Challenge ~ Butterflies
Don't forget to look LARGE
The compact challenge continues with a butterfly shot today, probably the insect I photograph most. This poor gatekeeper has been through the wars a bit as you can see but after witnessing a magpie catch and eat one, I'm surprised there are not more this ragged!
Also would like to say how thrilled I was by yesterdays comments, seems many of us have been offended by those words and many with compact cameras are interested to see what I come up with too. Hope I can perform now!! And just a short note to say I do also have friends who over rate me too!! :D
This was not that difficult at all today, the only problem I have is getting used to the live view. My hands are not so steady when held out in front of me, but the butterflies seemed to like this camera more than the SLR, so much less intimidating I suppose!
Tried to take the boys out today for a picnic. It kept raining!! We did enjoy out picnic but didn't get to spend too much time out because the rain refused to let up. Shame, I was hoping to find one of these beauties, we returned to the same spot where we found it last year but didn't get a chance to look closely for another one.
