Thistle and Bumblebee

I am exhausted!

Camping is really not that exhausting, but coming home and seeing all that needs to be done makes me so tired. Oh well.

So, I must admit, I am on a sort of roll with a Scottish theme. Funny how things happen that way. Last evening, as I was coming back from taking my Blip of Mr.Frog, I noticed a new trailer had parked kitty corner to ours. As I closed in, I noticed it was a Serro Scotty camper. Very cute! AND, there were Scottie dog statues placed strategically alongside a sign with a Scottie on it!

I decided to be friendly, so I walked over a bit closer. Oh MY! I called out in my best Scottish broque...."Hae ye got any Scotties here, then?"

The husband and wife both smiled and answered in the affirmative! Then I was introduced to Flora the Wheaten Scottie, and her brother, Murdo, the Brindle boy! Of course, they wanted to meet Angus and Murphy as well!

Turns out both Bonnie and Frank are of Scottish descent and rather proud of their heritage. (and didn't I completely forget to tell them my great grandfather Cunningham was Scottish!!)

They gave me a card and we promised to keep in touch! Camping is like that...you meet some really nice people!

We arrived home a short time ago and I needed to find a Blip once again. In looking aound a bit, I found this little Bumblebee fully engrossed in the lovely purple flower...well, since it is the flower of Scotland, why not. Eh?
