Baby Kite

I know this is a really poor shot. It was sooooo far away and I had to crop a lot, but I am so happy to see that the baby Mississippi Kite made it out of the nest and is steadily learning and preparing for the long migration to South America this fall. They are such a joy to watch. The drama that goes on just outside the door is amazing. You just have to stand still for a few minutes and pay attention.
