Big Ben

My Mum has been over from Guernsey for the last few days as she had to have a minor operation at St Thomas'. All went well and she was discharged this morning leaving the whole day to enjoy before her flight back this evening.

We decided to go on an open top bus ride around London, with the kids. We have done this before, but luckily the routes have changed so the kids thought they were getting a whole new experience.

My blip today was requested by James. Still affected by Cars 2, as we drove around London passing many famous sights, he had great pleasure in telling me that Lightening McQueen had been there too! This was his favourite landmark, as he pointed out, it played a big part in the movie!!
