Working like it's 1999
The mural on the side of the building promoting A Taste of Sahara has caused a hoo-haa amongst us at work. The crux of it is the silhouetted palms are wrong. It's ever so easy to criticise when it's not yourself up a ladder on a roof with a paintbrush.
It was like a snow day as the morning started with the internets being down at work. That weird childish giddiness of a mufty day permeated the office, but without the 10p outlay.
So I took the photo of the mural as the morning sun hit it. The guy at the bottom of the picture with the headphones on pressing the button, stepped out as I snapped this and almost got knocked down by a car. He jumped back just in time.
The internets came back at 1pm and I bought a pack of McVitie's Quirks biscuits (they're horrible).
