In the Navy

Headed into town today to give blood. They were a bit rough with the needle though so for the first time it's left my arm looking a real mess. Wish I had some long sleeved tops to cover it up as it probably looks pretty dodgy.

After that I went for a wander about the High Street to get festival blips. Got loads of good photos, but opted for this shot since she had been quite talkative. HEr and several of her colleagues are in a show called Wrens which is about a group of seven members of the WRNS based in a cabin on Orkney a couple of days before the end of the Second world war. She did a good job selling it as it sounded really good. Might have a think about tickets for it.

The plan was to go to the Spa after getting the photos but, when I got there, I realises I'd left my swimming stuff in the car when Roz headed back to Queensferry. D'oh!
