Old Brick Wall

Natalia took me to see an old wall he found on his walk.

It leans and in places quite a bit. But the brick work is just wonderful.

Why don't they build walls like this anymore? Why aren't brick houses built with those wonderful brick patterns any more? Too expensive, I suppose or have we lost the workmanship of bygone years or don't architects design interesting house any more?
