Bumper crops

Our allotment is the best it has been since we started. I really don't know how. Probably because we got stuff in earlier than usual and it wasn't left getting stressed at the back door!

Our wee apple tree has 50 apples on it! They aren't ready yet. Something really tasty to look forward to.

'Bumper' is suddenly striking me as a very funny word.
