The new weir
Modernised after the June 2007 floods, concrete and galvanised steel ,but needed so next time it rains big time,I wont need a rowing boat. Having said that, theres not too bad a blend with nature and engineering. On the left are well established Hawthornes containing quite a few nests,those I know are Robin and wren. Kingfishers are often seen about this spot as theres much fry about.
