Bullace or cherry plum?..........

.............this tree in the garden is laden with these little fruit probably for the first time in the 18 years we've been here - they're not ripe yet although some are already changing to a darker red colour. The stone is more plum-like than cherry.
I'm hoping they will make good jam and even better liqueur in time for Christmas!
