Delicate

I don't know what this is called - hence the blip name! I saw one of these float past the window earlier and I decided to try and blip it against a blue sky with the sun shining on it. The forecast today was for heavy rain all day. It was raining lightly when I got up but had stopped by mid morning. It then brightened up and by tea time was hot and sunny again! So much for the weather forecast.

I finally managed to do a bit of cleaning this afternoon after my dad took the boys bowling. I didn't get any where near the amount done that I needed to as I had to fix the blind in the kitchen that fell down this morning. You may remember me decorating the kitchen over Easter? Well it was my brand new blind that just fell down without even being touched! The plastic brackets at the side that it slots into had broken - not bad for something that is only about 4 months old. I took it back to the shop and without any questions the assistant gave me a new pack from under the counter. Apparently it's a common problem that they're trying to resolve!!! Well in my opinion they should not be selling them while they have this design fault. Imagine if that had fallen on somebody's head while they were in bed? Very dangerous. I'm not sure if the two are connected but the kitchen tap has sprung a leak at the back. It's only about 8 years old. The blind fell onto the tap so it could have made the leak come earlier than it would have done.
