The brightest bit of our day

A day spent with friends Alex and Mark. Strolled along the Grassy Beach path at Broughty Ferry and saw a couple of beautiful coloured mosaics - this being one of them. All the more striking because the day was so grey and dreich - you could physically see the cloud level hanging in a horizontal line just above the Tay Road Bridge further downstream. These mosaics brought a welcome streak of brightness to our walk, as well as being attractive works of art in their own right. Later on we went to the Hilltown Clock in Dundee and came across a sort of memory railing with some fantastic quotes on it. One of my favourites was:
