Happy Lammas!!!

August 1st is Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, or First Harvest. "Loaf Mass" came from it.

In celebration of the first harvest, ancient people would bake bread and give thanks to their Gods and Goddesses for bountiful harvests.

So guess what I did? Yup, baked bread!

I've baked from this recipe before, as shown here. This time, however, I made the bread much heartier with ground flax seeds and ground almond flour.
