Erra big safety pin

Taken on my lunch time walk in heavy rain - the need for teatime milk being stronger than my aversion to wet feet - this is the big sculpture in the Rottenrow gardens.

In the sunshine the gardens are stowed and as there's not much shelter from the sun or many seats, I don't usually bother coming here. I had the place to myself today, funnily enough. It's a great spot, with a wild garden and lavender borders. (Note to self - come back when drier.)
