Shining Star

This morning, as I tip tapped away on the computer, I was grateful that I had neglected work and had lots to catch up on. The distraction was welcome.

By 11.00 am my girl rose and took and long leisurely shower.

By lunchtime I was considering hands and knees scrubbing of the floors as she flounced from room to room with her phone peeping ever minute - 'So and so has this, they have that....' She managed to eat lunch - goodness knows how, although she says she would have fainted otherwise.

By 2.00 pm we had given up any pretence of a casual relaxed temprement. When the door bell rang at 2.15pm she physically jumped out of her seat and my stomach lurched.

Two minutes later and the corks popped, the hugs and hysterical laughter rang out, the music was put on LOUD and my god did we dance that stress away. She so deserved those results and we are most tear jerkingly proud of her. I'm bursting out all over I know.

I do hope that all involved got results they deserved and that they can take the positives from this and move on in whatever direction suits them best.

For us, the day belongs to my most precious, gorgeous and bloody brilliant girl - I Love Her So Much xxx
