Today, is the 10th anniversary of our fathers death.

I can recall
He was 66
It was a Saturday , it had rained all day.
It was late at night when I took the call.
My husband drove
We arrived too late.

Today
I am 46
It is Thursday,it has rained all day.
It has been a steady day at work .
The traffic was easy.
I am off for a haircut shortly.

Because
Time has helped , and the pain has eased.
He would have been mad if we had been sad.
He would want us to be doing normal stuff.
