The walk home

One thing I have noticed more now I've started my blip project are the flowers (ok pretty weeds) on my way to and from work.

I thought I would take a foray into nature snaps today. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw a wasp land on one of the flowers. So I seized the moment and crept closer to the bush to try and get my snap only to be greeted by many wasps! I bid a hasty retreat and settled for this harmless plant instead. I think in future I'll try to approach bumble bees, much more friendly. Also it's made me realise I need to understand macro a lot better : )
