Nipped into the new Cafe Stella on Colonial Avenue in our general neighborhood...

I had a perfect macchiato, and youngest daughter G declared the blueberry muffin delicious.

Lovely wide interiors, done up in shabby chic; wide cafe tables with painted-on compass rose motifs, lots of ample window seating.

Collections of glass and crystal, flea-market finds, and different colored glass bottles strewn on tables and shelves to catch the morning (and afternoon) light. And an in-house coffee roaster!

I predict I shall be spending many writing hours here in the near future.
