Swimming lessons

Took ourselves over to Holland to meet our friends who live there. They have just bought a lovely house, just 50 metres from the canal. Went for a walk, with the boys and their dog, and got a Blip straight away, a very pregnant frog, making her way to the waters edge. But a few minutes later saw this, and Mrs frog was de-moted !!
A pair of Coots had built their nest in the centre of a small pond and all the eggs were hatched, this was the scene as the parent birds chivvyied their offspring into the water so the could be fed. 3 of them didn't want to go and one bird was diving down and bringing water weed to the surface to tempt the little ones into the water. Fascinating to see. Hope your Weekend was a good one.
