spin, spin, spin..............

so a small tribute to early vic and bob in the title today.

so i set put with a purpose in mind today and ended up distracted by these guys.
they go by the name of "one motion" and they are good. in fact that's a bit of an understatement. agile, athletic and artistic are just a few of the words that i would use to describe them. i consider myself a pretty harsh judge of street performers, especially having ben born and raised in edinburgh where this stuff is pretty much shoved down your throat. and those od us that live/lived there know how bad it gets during the festival. the ones that really get on my wick and i can see no entertainment value in at all are the ones that dress as statues and then just stand there, not doing anything and yet folk still happily hand over their hard earned cash to these muppets. honestly nothing anyone can say will change my mind on this. so please stop giving them money and maybe they will go away and either work on their act or just let someone with some talent take their place.
still i digress. "one motion" are definately worth a visit. the front man has a good bit of banter which brings the crowd in and gets them involved and as i said the guys themselves are very talented and even though it's a short show the vitality and humour leaves you feeling good and you don't walk away feeling like you have just wasted 20 minutes of your life.

i did take lots of shots but due to the having to use Mrs McD's vodafone mobile internet thing i can't post the rest of them until i get the 18 restriction lifted. so i'll try and do that tomorrow. until then get down to the southbank (just over by the london eye" and follow the quality tunes over to "one motion", you won't be disappointed.

p.s. the dude who is doing the headspin in the shot was just coming to the end of a 23 full revolutions headspin................you gotta give him respect for that.
