Burrard Inlet at Dusk

It is definitively August. Dusk is coming sooner. I had forgotten how quickly night can descend on us and how rapidly the evenings become shorter and shorter. Tonight was a reminder. P and I walked by the waterfront after dinner. Must have been about 8:30PM. The light changed rapidly as we watched.

I love watching the freighters in the harbour. This one was perfectly positioned with the sliver of the moon just above it. Love the combination of the moon and the sunset. One does not wait for the other. And love the watchers. Amazing how people stop to watch as the light changes and the evening closes in around us.
