2011 Wednesday -- Today's High-light

We stopped several times today as we traveled north through the Big Sur Coastline of California, and many places were spectacular, but none more lovely than this location at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.

Mr. Fun took this photo, so that's two days in a row that he's participated with me in this blip page. Before this vacation is over, he might be hooked. ;-)

We ate breakfast in the lovely restaurant at Ragged Point, which is on the southern end of the Big Sur Coastline. Mid-day we stopped at Lucia to find a restroom and also shared a sandwich. He had a strong cup of coffee and I enjoyed a glass of iced tea. As late afternoon arrived we drove into Carmel and stopped at the bakery for a cookie and a strong cup of coffee for both of us. If you think we have been  eating and drinking our way through this day, you are right. This evening I had shrimp & fries and he had fish & chips. We are both so stuff! This has been a fabulous day.

Thanks for all the nice comments on last night's not-so-nice rant. So as not to embarrass myself again, I will keep today's blip short.
