Golden Pen

My father-in-law recently went on a cruise to Alaska, and as a gift brought me home a gold-filled Alaska pen. He knows, as do most who know me, that I like pens, paper, drawing supplies, etc.. This pen has gold flakes suspended in water in a transparent body, as you can see. Pretty cool!

I posed this pen atop one of my working notebooks as I was readying to do some software design work for the day. I didn't get very much done on that, but there's still time! If you can read any of the words on the notebook you are likely to see some pretty nerdy stuff! :)
