Surrogates

We have 4 children, B and I.
Good friends of ours have 4 girls.

All 8 have grown up together and are as close to siblings as you can get outside of blood. All 4 girls have spent much of their lives with us as ours have spent with them. We consider the girls our surrogates, and they are often with us to this day.

The eldest girl is arguably our eldest boy's best pal (although he seems to spend more time down the pub with her partner than with her!) and the youngest is arguably our youngest's closest female pal.

All four girls (not to mention all their subsequent friendship circle) call my B...'bump-bump'. A throw back from early days when the eldest couldn't pronounce her name and it came out thus....and stuck!
(I think know she likes it!)

This is the youngest, our lovely Georgie - our 4th Surrogate. She's over staying the night after she and Gus went to see HP for the 3rd time, this occasion in 3D.

We love our Georgie. xxx
