Late roses

Most of the wild roses have faded - but these still bloom on the forbidden path.

Saw lots of young birds today still being fussed over by their parents - goldfinches, bull finches, whitethroats, blue tits.

No rain yet today - despite the forcast - but I have mended my drainpipe - Ha!
