MY GUYS!

Meet My Guys -

I am dog-sitting these guys. They are very lively, uber strong and are only interested in eating - ANYTHING!!

In my 4 days with them, I am proud to have trained them to sit before dinner and not beg at the table...and to make the wee one walk on a lead.

They are big strong dogs and have a terrible reputation - the older one with a past that would make Marley proud!!

Once on Elie beach, a man was quietly eating his apple, when along came my sisters dog - and snatched - AND ATE the apple right our of his hand. An hour later at the other end of the beach, a lady was walking towards the family. She had an apple in her hand and she raised it right over her head. An inquisitive dog circumnavigated her - and all she had to say was "I've heard of you - you met my husband an hour ago!!!" SO embarrassing!

On Kingsbarns Beach, we were gathered as a good crowd - 14 I think. I took the dogs to the lapping waves for a quiet stroll...when some lady unwrapped tin foil at the back of the beach, some 150yards away. ...Up went his ears, out went his tail and off he went at a speed that could not be matched. I yelled To my sister: she launched herself towards the tin foil lady and tried to get there before the dog - my nephew yelled, "Hide your luuuunnnnnch!" - at which point the dog arrived, covered the entire family in sand and ate the contents of the tin foil - HER WHOLE PICNIC!! He wagged his tail in thanks and meandered back to our spot!

One dog is a sock eater - imagine the embarrassment for the kids when , as they were sitting on the school bus, their dog crouched down and after considerable effort, produced an entire football sock. You cannot imagine the anticipation of a 24 inch long sock appearing in front of your friends!!!

It was just so embarrassing!!

So as I walk them to the Loch as I meet runners, cyclists and other dog walkers - band hope against hope, that no-one dares to run with an energy biscuit!!!

I have good tone on my shoulders at the moment!!!
