The Debt Ceiling

I got back from Inverness at 8.30pm this evening. Quite a nice drive back. But in order to buy Chardonnay I needed to get some money from the Cashline machine outside Margiotta's and was distracted by this RBS advert on the wee screen next to the keypad.

It looks as if the Americans have finally agreed to raise their debt ceiling from $1.4 trillion to whatever the level needs to be. Maybe next time they'd be able to avoid the shenaningans of the last week or so by getting RBS to send them a text when they get close to their new limit.
