Peekaboo

We went to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh today with Margaret.

Elizabeth wanted to walk a lot of the way, or she wanted to run off! Actually she stuck with us most of the time, and as we weren't following any route, we often went the way she suggested. The rock gardens with a buggy wasn't her best idea though.

When we had our picnic, she was very curious to try Margaret's carrot. Not that she hasn't had carrots before, but she's not been too keen recently. She loved chewing on it, but most of it got spat out.

Her name for Margaret was "Gabby". No idea how she got there, but Margaret is a very difficult name for little ones.

She also seems to be calling all birds "duck". But I did manage to get her to say "birdie" and "tweet, tweet".

I listened to one of her pretent conversations on the phone this morning. It went like this "Hello? Blah, blah, nonsense words, toast, blah, blah, bye bye."

I also caught her repeating "ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho" from a song on baby tv.
