Busy beach

My home town of Weymouth has had a lot of investment because it is the 2012 Olympic sailing venue. I dearly hope that this pays off in terms of more tourism in the future too. It was a hot day and the beach was packed which was good. My Grandma came to visit us today on the train. She's in her 90s and luckily still gets about well and is able to live on her own. She regaled us with stories of a relative murdered at the age of six for a bag of sweets.
This evening I finally went to see Harry Potter. I love the books and have read them a number of times. Luckily I was warned that the film deviates quite a lot from the book. I still enjoyed it although, inevitably, the book has more detail and is better. I have been avoiding going because I guess that adventure is over now. But I'll keep re-reading the books and watching the films.
