FUN FUN FUN!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I LOVE being on holiday, I really do. I get to go to the beach everyday and swim ALL the time.

Today we went to Watergate Bay. It is one of mum and daddy's most favourite beaches ever and I have to agree.

We went there back in June when we first met up with Kirstie and the boys and I couldn't wait to go back. It is the biggest beach EVER!

When we parked the car I just knew where we were by the smell. I stuck my nose in the air and pulled mum as quickly as I could towards the sea!

I wasn't allowed off my lead until we had got nearly to the other end of the beach (it took a while as it is very long!) I was grunting and groaning all the way there.....just desperate to get there and be let off. I wasn't allowed off before because it was VERY busy with lots of people, and children and footballs and doggies and LOADS of excting things that I would have barged in on. There was a surf lesson going on, where a man was lying on a board on the sand showing people what to do, I just thought he was silly and wanted to jump on him and lick his ear.....I mean...how can you teach someone to surf from a board on the SAND for goodness sake???!!

It was really hot when we got there. Mum even had her bikini on but oh no, I was soooo embarrased. She was so white. It wasn't cool at all. She wanted to swim in the sea with me but NO WAY was I going to go with her. Everytime she called me into the sea I ran back to Daddy for my ball. Even when the ball landed next to her in the sea I just gave her a quick glance, grabbed the ball and swam as quickly as I could away from her! I didn't want anyone to think I was with her ;-)

We pitched up right next to a big rock pool so I got to play in there where mum and daddy could "keep an eye on me" I had a great time jumping in and then jumping on them covered in sand and soaking wet. Then I went off and dug a GREAT BIG hole, covering them in sand just as they were trying to enjoy the sun *giggle*

I LOVED it so much. There is nothing better than being in the sea or rolling in the sand. My tail wagged the WHOLE time :-)

Then, all of a sudden, big grey clouds came and the wind picked up. Mum and daddy got cold and mum put on her trousers, t-shirt AND jumper (thank goodness I thought!!) The rain was on it's way so we left the beach, much to my COMPLETE disgust. It took nearly half an hour to get me off the beach. I REFUSED to move. People were walking past me and laughing. My head was down, my ears were down, my tail was down.....someone said it looked like I thought it was the end of the world!! Well.....it was for me!

We then had a lager and some cheesey chips in a bar (well mum and daddy did!) I laid under the table nicely just like Molly the Collie taught me yesterday. I quite like being out with mum and daddy at a bar, I meet lots of people and there are always LOADS of crumbs for me to sniff up :-)

Now we are home and it is pouring with rain :-( I really hope it is gone tomorrow because I have been promised ANOTHER beach tomorrow. Yippppeeeeee!
