Iron Age Village on Great Bernera, Outer Hebrides

Roof of a replica of houses exposed and excavated after a huge storm in 1993 - the originals were backfilled with sand to protect them from the exposed site at Bostadh. Great Bernera is an island linked by a bridge to the Isle of Lewis.
