Skipton, North Yorkshire

Dad had asked if H and I would like to go to Skipton with him for the day. He had a mishap with his car last night, and was up at 4am trying to sort out the problem??? (He said that he couldn't sleep - probably worrying). I was worried about his lack of sleep, so suggested that I drove instead!

We had a very unexpected travelling companion, as my son mentioned he might come too (very unusual for him).

The countryside was beautiful as we drove towards Skipton. We had a walk around the market, a look in the church, lunch out and bought the kids something from a 'ye olde sweet shop' place.

A really great day out was had by all.
