Ahh....they aren't fighting....

My poor children have been so bored. They have been begging to invite school friends over but the past few days have been so busy that it's been hard for me to commit to having anyone over. Our neighborhood has a few kids in it but they were all out doing other things today. So to try and cure my boys' boredom I took them down to the river where we fed the ducks and nasty, cranky geese and went on a little walk. After we stopped at the store and bought water balloons. It's such a BOY thing!

It was also the Neighborhood Night Out this evening so our neighborhood all got together for a large bbq, ice cream and firemen.....lot's of firemen! For the second year in a row the police department did not send anyone to represent their department and yet the firemen sent several (as usual). So that being said, the firemen are scoring BIG points with us again this year ;)

It was a fun day at the river and an even better night in the neighborhood. I had a few different types of pictures to choose from today. I had a couple fun close ups of the ducks and then some of fire trucks, kids eating ice cream but in the end this photo beat the rest. Maybe not the best picture but its of both the boys together sitting quietly, no arguing, no punching etc. I love moments like this!!
