Sultry lunchtime

I sat for an extended morning coffee in my friend Sue's gorgeous garden. I had left my camera in the car (to be polite as I know what I can be like !) so I wasn't tempted to capture all the small whites (at least 7) that have crept out since the end of the Big Butterfly Count. A little wren also dropped in to join the conversation - and there was a lovely peacock butterfly too.

I had some errands to run and, of course, ran amok with the Canon.... The echinacea was at the local garden centre.
