Aine in Black Watch!

Dull, drizzly and humid. fortunately the day was enlivened by a visit to the Heron Gallery Cafe run by my pal Annabel, to have lunch with another pal, Mary. One of those bizarre and fortuitous things happened while we were lunching - Annabel spotted Mary's car which just happened to be for sale and bought it - cash in hand with a print thrown in! All parties delighted.

This is Aine (pronounced onya) who is doing the odd days in the cafe - she's a primary school teacher in her other life. Here she is sporting her rather fetching homemade pinny made out of Black Watch tartan. The discussion the other night was about tartans!! My family tartan is the Black Watch and here you have it!

Tonight we shall be back up at the Heron for an evening of cocktails!! I'm not sure why we're going for cocktails, I think it was because Annabel has a bottle of rum and I have some gin. That should do it. Finger food is to be provided and I'm off to make some mini tarts.
