Tern

1st Blip for for a few days,
on the morning of the 1st of August I received onboard the ship the phone call that everyone who work away from home dread. Annie called to break the news that my Mother had passed away suddenly. My boss was great and immediately ordered the boat to sail 12 hours to port to put me ashore to be with my family.
We had just celebrated Mum,s 90th birthday in December so I have back blipped her surrounded by her family & Friends.

Today's blip of a Tern is dedicated to her, she loved simple images and would have been pleased with this and would, as always urged me to send it in to the local paper... which I never did much to her constant annoyance.
