Soup Du Jour
In the 5 years Gander and I have been together, our eating and cooking habits have changed pretty drastically. When we first met, I was happy to have plain pasta with butter every day, and certainly didn't know how to cook much other than that.
Over the years, I've become a vegetarian and started dabbling in my own bit of cooking, with help from my lovely chef of a Gander. We now both eat vegetarian, primarily vegan, for all our meals at home, and decided to take it a notch further this week- going raw.
We don't intend to make our entire diet raw immediately, but want to experiment- and so far we've thoroughly been enjoying the flavors of what we've made! Though not raw (we cooked the vegetables), we made a new soup tonight- curried zucchini.
After boiling the potatoes, zucchini, onion and garlic, we blended it all up in the food processor. The result? DELICIOUS. I love food.
