Busy bee

I'd had good intentions of getting lots done today, but somehow the morning passed with little accomplished. I got out to the gym late morning, stopping at Pioneer Park on the way for a blip. The bees were very busy around the wildflowers at the water's edge. Another hot and humid one today - tying the record of 17 straight days at 90F or above. Apparently we may not break the record tomorrow - what a shame! There's a "cold" front coming through which will bring more cloud cover and possibly some rain tomorrow, which will cool things off - Thursday will be a mere 88F! However the humidity will also be less, so it will probably feel quite nice. Roger and I are off to the airport soon to meet our son Philip, who is coming to visit for two weeks. He's in the Airforce in New Mexico, so we don't see him too often. The weekend after next our daughter and son-in-law will be here too, so we will have all the family together for a couple of days!
