My New Beauty

I woke up early this morning, well not neccesarily early, but considering it's the summer holidays and it's a tuesday it was fairly early. Anyways the reason for this was to go and pick up the new piano. Left a little bit late but it was fine, I just walked a bit faster. As I was walking though I noticed an Allmans removal van drive past. I thought "That's a bit funny, we hired allmans but they're going the wrong way". Anyways when I got to the lady's house it turned out they'd already been and gone, so I dropped off the money and then rushed back to play it before anyone else could.

And to be honest, I haven't really done anything else all day. I've been on the laptop every now and again, just to give the neighbours a break from the noise really. We have to go round tomorrow and ask how annoying it was, in which case we'll move it to the other side of the house. But hopefully it'll be okay. I'm just looking forward to getting it tuned now, got to wait a few weeks for it to settle first though.

I took this photo fairly quickly actually because my camera batteries had run out, and so had my spares. So I'd put in a handful of 'other' batteries which weren't that strong. And I watched the battery level drop as I held them, so I had to be fast. Hopefully i'll get a better picture tomorrow. Depends what else I get up to, i need to leave the house really. Haven't left since I got back from Prague !
