Trout

Along with some mushrooms, stage left, about to become a tortilla type thingie.

I discovered a few weeks ago that in Catalunya they call an omelette/ frittata/ tortilla a truita, which is a trout. For the other ones they say it's "from the river".

As to why, I've yet to find anything definitive. Better ask the Welsh about their rabbits, I guess.

The beer is not for the trout. It's for the cook.
