Bishop of Llandaff and his lady

Thank you for the the kind comments yesterday - so today another beauty from the garden . I knew it was a dahlia but Mr H gave the detail that it is grandly titled the Bishop of Llandaff - guess it was named after him! The deep red is wonderful and when I came back to this particular bloom after a quick tour of the garden there was a welcome visitor sitting on the petals.

A busy work day getting ready for an important presentation and review in London tomorrow so the brief opportunity for blipping in the garden this afternoon was very welcome.
