Books for 20p

My friend Sue set up the village recycling scheme when she was still teaching at the school. A while ago, I helped her to set up a blog. Now she's retired but she still manages the recycling, which has earned £1000s for the school. This involves going down there in all weathers to sort out muddles, like people putting stuff in the wrong bins. A few years ago, her efforts were rewarded with an MBE.

Sue's always looking for new ways to increase income. When she found that people were putting some perfectly usable books in with the old newspapers, she started fishing them out and now she sells them at her gate. I didn't find anything I liked today, but I'll keep checking.
