Hadrians Wall

Drove past this earlier today on my way to an appointment. It's hard to believe that this section of the Wall is actually right next to the A69 dual carriageway on the outskirts of Newcastle. I wouldn't want to be a Centurion, standing guard, with all that traffic flying past every two minutes.
