Drainage Ditch

This is my contribution to the water theme this week. It wasn't difficult to find water as it was coming from the sky by the bucket load. I took several pictures through my windscreen (while stationary, I hasten to add) but they didn't amount to much. In the end I took my blip during the dog walk when I slithered down the wet bank (why do I always do this on the rare days when I'm wearing a skirt?!) and captured not just the peat field drainage ditch but also the already flowering heather. It's unusually early this year but then again in Ireland the autumn has already started apparently. Thanks to Freespiral for this info!
